THE RIGHT WAY OR NO WAY is for use with young pedestrians who are making, or who have made, the transition from primary to secondary school.
It can be during this time that young pedestrians are faced with new routes to school, new friends, pressure from peers and increased independence away from parental guidance. Throw in MP3 players and mobile phones, which can lead to distractions, and the potential for incidents can be greatly increased.
This resource emphasises that staying safe when out and about as a young pedestrian is simply a matter of making smart, practical and stigma-free decisions.
