The aim of this research is to identify initiatives that increase the safety of those who drive for work. The Health and Safety Executive estimate that 25%-33% of all serious and fatal road collisions involve someone who was ‘at work’ when the collision occurred.

This report examines the evidence to establish why at work drivers are over represented in road collisions, examines the effectiveness of current initiatives and presents recommendations for reducing collisions that involve work-related drivers.
