Bike tyre safety month will run throughout April 2011 to highlight the dangers of riding motorcycles and scooters on defective or badly worn tyres.
TyreSafe is encouraging motorcycle dealers and repairers, tyre retailers and motorcycle accessory shops to lend their support by offering free tyre safety checks to their customers. By doing this, TyreSafe says that vital safety messages will be communicated more effectively.
TyreSafe has produced a range of support material available free of charge including a press advertising template, free pressure and tread check posters and a motorcycle tyre safety leaflet.
