In a bid to quantify the high number of unrecorded horse accidents on the roads, The British Horse Society has launched a website where horse related incidents can be logged, and advice offered.
Until now it has been difficult for the BHS to obtain accurate data for horse-related incidents. The BHS hopes that in addition to equestrians, local authorities and the police will also record incidents on the new website.
BHS launched the website at Your Horse Live 2010 and is delighted with the response, including many more ‘incident’ reports across the variety of forms on the reporting page.
