A review of motorcycle research and reports relating to road safety issues
Like Devon, many counties – and particularly those with a rural topography – have a high proportion of motorcycle crashes compared to the overall percentage of traffic.
In order to ensure an evidence-led approach, a review of current motorcycle safety literature, which is pertinent to the UK’s roads, was conducted to identify the most suitable interventions to address the various crash scenarios.
