Founded by FirstCar and Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service, the Immersive Community Education (ICE) Hub is a platform which aims to help with the delivery of road safety education through the use of virtual reality. ICE Hub members have open access to the platform, which contains around 25 films with a combined total production value of more than £500,000.The films cover a variety of topics and road users including young drivers, powered two-wheelers, cyclists and pedestrians.

To obtain ICE Hub membership, local authorities can either contribute a film to the Hub – or make a financial contribution towards the cost of an existing virtual reality production.
