The Direct Line & Brake Reports on Safe Driving are a series of reports researched and produced by Brake in partnership with Direct Line.

The reports are based on surveys of UK drivers, revealing their attitudes and behaviour on key road safety topics, and providing an insight into what needs to be done to make our roads safer for everyone. Each report contains survey findings, plus wider research, case studies, advice for drivers, and recommendations for Government.

The reports are free of charge and cover a wide range of topics including:

• Learning to drive
• Seat belts & head restraints
• Drink driving
• Tiredness/driver fatigue
• Winter driving
• Rural roads
• Speed

The reports are being released throughout 2012-14.
