Reported Road Casualties in Great Britain: Quarterly Provisional Estimates Q1 2010

Provisional estimates published by the DfT on 5/8/10 show the number of fatalities in road accidents were down 16% for the 12 months ending March 2010, compared to the previous 12 months.

Total casualties were also down 3%, and killed and seriously injured casualties down by 6%, compared with the previous 12 months.

The DfT publication, Reported Road Casualties in Great Britain: Quarterly Provisional Estimates Q1 2010, includes national statistics on road casualties in personal injury road accidents reported to the police in Great Britain for the first quarter of 2010, according to the arrangements approved by the UK Statistics Authority.
