The Good Egg Guide for Parents of New Drivers is a specially-designed booklet that equips parents with helpful tips for managing the risks their son or daughter will face as new drivers.

The first two years of driving are the most dangerous for a new driver with more than one in four drivers killed on British roads being under the age of 24.

The Good Egg Guide for Parents of New Drivers is a specially-designed booklet that equips parents with helpful tips for managing the risks their son or daughter will face as new drivers, as well as a breakdown of relevant laws and the importance of getting lessons from a qualified driving instructor.

The accompanying website contains information on the scale of the young driver problem, learning to drive, the law and case studies featuring young drivers and their parents.

The guide was developed in consultation with a number of road safety partners including Road Safety GB, ACPO/S, advanced driving instructors and leading academics and transport psychologists.
