Wrecked, is a road safety resource aimed at young adults which features more than 100 stories based on real life events.

Wrecked was originally developed for the Greater Manchester Road Safety Partnership but since then has been adopted by road safety teams across the country.

Designed to provoke group discussion within a ‘non-preachy’ environment, Wrecked has a wide and varied selection of stories based on real life events and covering a range of topics from drink driving to illegally driving a quad bike.

The story presentation is followed by a guided but open discussion, supported by comprehensive guidelines.

Wrecked is a flexible resource designed to be used by virtually anyone including RSOs, teachers, NHS personnel, fire, police and probation services and youth groups.

Wrecked has been used by over 40 government bodies, has been evaluated by the DfT, been nominated for many awards and has had a long list of approvals from people using the resource at ground level.

  1. Brings tears to your eyes! Gets the message across. We should be seeing these sort of films on TV at peak times so that people will realise that drink, drugs phones etc wreck lives, including the guilty parties. Something positive must be done not just surveys, reports and analysis – it’s action that is needed.
