University College London (Centre for Transport Studies)

The Centre for Transport Studies is a part of the Department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering at UCL, and is located on the second floor of the Chadwick building. The Accessibility Research Group (ARG) is based within CTS. Together with our colleagues in the Centre for Transport Studies at Imperial College we offer an Intercollegiate MSc Course in Transport. CTS also has a regular series of research seminars run jointly with Imperial College.

Research is undertaken in the following main areas:

• Safety
• Transport Modelling and Analysis
• Institutional and Behavioural Aspects of Transport Policy
• Public Transport
• The Theory and Practice of Traffic Control
• Transport in Developing Countries.
