We aim to reduce the number of people injured on our roads through targeted camera enforcement and improving driver behaviour. We believe speeding is socially unacceptable and encourage everybody to know the speed limits and drive at a speed appropriate to the road conditions.
Our organisation is divided into three Safety Camera Unit areas – North, East & West – who manage the speed and red-light cameras across Scotland. We work alongside Police Scotland and are funded through a grant provided to us by the Scottish Safety Camera Programme.
