The reduction of injuries that occur to people through their involvement in road traffic crashes is an important priority for Sunderland City Council.

We will continue to promote measures that will lead to a reduction in the number of injury crashes and will seek to manage and improve these measures, giving priority to making our roads, footpaths and cycleways safer for children.
