Strathclyde Safety Camera Partnership

The Strathclyde Safety Camera Partnership consists of Strathclyde Police, Transport Scotland and all 12 unitary local authorities in West Central Scotland.

The Partnership operates safety cameras – fixed, mobile, average speed and red-light, throughout the Strathclyde area at locations that have a history of personal injury accidents where speeding or red light running are considered to be a significant factors. All of these sites are listed on the Partnership’s website (see below).

Strathclyde Safety Camera Partnership operates within the guidelines of the Scottish Safety Camera Programme, an evidence based initiative designed to influence driver behaviour by targeted enforcement at locations where there is a history of personal injury crashes and also an identified problem with speeding or red-light running.

The programme encompasses eight safety camera partnerships throughout the country.
