Pembrokeshire County Council Road Safety Strategy 2006/2010.

The Road Safety Vision
Road Safety is important to each and every one of us who uses the highway by various transport modes. Our vision therefore is to provide a highway that is safe foruse by reducing real or perceived danger. We will do this by enabling poeple to travel safely by providing advice, installing physical measures and enforcing the law.

Key Stakeholders
The following key stakeholders have an influence in the developing and implementing on the strategy and policy set out within the document as follows:-

1. Welsh Assembly Government
2. South Wales Trunk Road Agency
3. Dyfed Powys Police
4. Pembrokeshire County Council Road Safety Forum
5. Mid & West Wales Fire & Resue Service
6. Local Health Trust

Targets
The Council have adopted the three national road safety targets to be completed in 2010.
