The London Borough of Croydon Road safety team provides advice and information on the following issues in the area:
• Junior Road Safety Officers – local primary school children can become Junior Road Safety Officers and help to champion the road safety message.
• Croydon young drivers – education and advice for young drivers, including motorcycles and scooters.
• Dangerous road junctions – priority road junctions.
• Mobile phones and driving safely.
• Pedestrian crossings – we are responsible for installing, maintaining and upgrading pedestrian crossings in the borough.
• Road safety information for schools, including links.
• Speed reduction and traffic calming – information about various speed reduction methods used in the borough.
• Pre-school road safety – the Children’s Traffic Club teaches road safety to pre-school children.
