London Borough of Redbridge

The aim of the Road Safety Team is to reduce the number of casualties occurring on the Borough’s roads. The team endeavours to achieve this through a series of campaigns, exhibitions, education, training and publicity.

The Road Safety Team can be provides advice on the following:

• Visits to schools to deliver Road Safety education
• Cycle training for both children and adults
• Walking Buses
• Talks, information and advice on child car seats and seat belts
• Road Safety Theatre In Education
• Road Safety campaigns and exhibitions

The team can also supply advice, information and leaflets on the following:

• Drink & Drug Driving
• Mobile phones and driving
• Pass Plus
• BikeSafe and ScooterSafe (Skills sessions for motorcycle, moped and scooter riders)
• The Green Cross Code
• How to use various pedestrian crossings (Pelicans, Puffins and Toucans)
• Cycling and cycle helmets
• Older road users
