Norfolk County Council

The Road Safety Team is part of the Casualty Reduction Section. The purpose of the team is to make a positive change to road user behaviour, enabling all users to access the road network in a safe and efficient way. The team deals with all aspects of road use and all types of road user; their specific targets for each year are detailed in their team plan, which can be found on our website.

Education
The Education Team delivers road safety education and training in the school setting. There are four Road Safety Officers and around 20 Road Safety Assistants and countless volunteer instructors, all of whom deliver the highest quality schemes throughout the year. All of these schemes are free at the point of delivery and provide an essential introduction to safe road use; an introduction that will serve to establish patterns of positive behaviour.
