Road Safety Training – The Calderdale Road Safety Team provides training courses for primary & secondary school pupils in cycling proficiency & pedestrian skills.
School Crossing Patrols – SCPs are provided at 63 sites across the district, supervising more than 4.5k children every session on their way to & from school.
Partnership Working – Close collaboration with the emergency services, private industry & schools greatly enhances our ability to mount campaigns.
Traffic Engineering – Analysis, minor schemes, democratic process, HDC input, speed management, traffic regulation orders etc
