Launched in 2003, Dumfries and Galloway Safety Camera Partnership is a Government-backed scheme which aims to reduce the number of road casualties in the region.
The Partnership consists of Dumfries and Galloway Council, Dumfries and Galloway Constabulary, Dumfries and Galloway Fire and Rescue Service, NHS Dumfries and Galloway and the Scottish Government.
The Partnership enforces the speed limit at proven crash locations that have a speed history and also promotes speed reduction in an education and campaign programme.
