Taxis, Ubers, private hire: concerned about reports of black cab drivers having more than 8 points on licence, trade associations supporting drivers through legal claims when facing loss of licence – plus have personal experience of drivers using a hand-held phone while on the move, exceeding speed limits, doing illegal right turns etc. Where can I start finding out about the standards applied by licensing authority and any examples of best practice? Thanks in advance
