Hi all,
LTN 1/20 recommends that speed cushions are not used on cycle routes due to issues for adapted bikes / tricycles and cycles with trailers. How have any local authorities adapted policy to deal with this change to traffic calming guidance? A complete ban on speed cushion use or site by site assessment? We’re being asked to not propose any new cushions in schemes and I’d like to get an idea as to how other councils are dealing with this issue. Thanks
