I was just wondering if anyone has done any publicity/campaigns (posters/social media/leaflets.. anything) on drivers who drive in and reverse out of their driveways. I am interested to know if anyone has done promotion on reverse in, drive out? Thanks

Safer Roads Greater ManchesterRule 201 of the Highway Code! Sorry I can’t help, but good luck to you. Could do with something similar concerning supermarket car parks.
The challenge about reverse into parking is to look at why it is done or not. Reverse parking is not always the best overall safe routine, such as limiting access to the boot, charging points with trailing cables being the easiest examples.
As with And Fraser above, just checked R201, and then read the dire comment in R202 about ‘looking mainly through the rear window’.Of course in an ideal driving world, everyone would drive onto their drive, turn it around and then drive out!!!!!
