    Hello All,

I was hoping to get some ideas on what you do for Early years?

We are in the process of revamping our package and have decided on an online package. If you have any information, links or resources you’d be happy to share, please do let me know.

    Thanks, Bethany (RSO)

    Hi Bethany

We produce a range of resources for Early Years. These are fun, interactive and also cover all the important road safety themes. They’re designed for children to use in the classroom and take home to work on with their parents.

If you want me to send you any samples let me know!

    Hi Bethany,

We have a Young Road User Presentation and resources which we make freely available on our website: https://sussexsaferroads.gov.uk/safer-for-pedestrians/education-resources/young-road-user-resources/

These are aimed at younger years in Primary Schools but delivery can be adjusted for older years also.

Feel free to email me if you want to discuss but you are welcome to use these in their current form if useful.

    Thanks,
    Tom.

    Hi Bethany

Norfolk County Council Road Safety have Safer Journeys Ahead which is a EYFS & KS1 teacher training programme that has been piloted for the past two years in connection with a Road Safety Trust Grant, which centres around putting positive road safety messaging into the national curriculum.

I’d welcome the opportunity to speak to you to discuss the results the project has achieved and how it can be implemented, and share best practice.

Feel free to email me if interested at roslind.symonds@norfolk.gov.uk

    Cheers
    Roz
