    Does anyone have any data on how enhanced footway treatment reduces slips, trips and falls due to ice and the impact of enhanced footway treatments? If you are happy to share the data with us we would be grateful. Many thanks.

    Thanks for posing this question lisamac. The NWSRG carried out a membership survey regarding local authority footway treatments a while ago, and a new section of their guidance for practitioners covering treatments for footways and cycleways is currently at UKRB review stage and is therefore hopefully due to be published shortly.

    We too would be very interested in hearing from authorities regarding their experiences and/or any data they may have regarding the effectiveness of these treatments.
