Brunel University (Ergonomics Research Group)

The Ergonomics Research Group (ERG) is currently made up of eight active researchers, led by Dr Mark Young, a Senior Lecturer in Design. The ERG conducts and disseminates research on cognitive ergonomics in various application domains, with a strong emphasis on transport ergonomics. Our projects have been funded by research councils and commercial organisations, and include work on driver distractions, mental workload, human error, driver behaviour, interface design, product design, and user experience design.
