Alcohol Support Ltd is a local voluntery organisation based in Aberdeen. As an organisation we provide a number of services to anyone who has alcohol issue or anyone affected by someone else’s use of alcohol.
We provide a 1 to 1 counselling service, a child and family counselling service, and a Drink Drive Rehabilitation Scheme. We also offer a ‘Designated Place’ facility which is funded through Grampian Police and NHS Grampian for anyone who is found ‘drunk and incapable’ in a public place by the police. Anyone found is taken to our facility where they are monitered throughout their stay by appropriately trained staff.
