In January 2017 the London Road Safety Council (LRSC) celebrated its centenary, and to mark the occasion LRSC organised a one-day conference looking at the challenges and opportunities that lay ahead for road safety professionals working in cities across the UK.
The agenda covered a wide range of topics including pedestrians, cyclists, powered two wheelers, shared space, 20mph limits/zones and driverless cars.
The conference presentations - delivered by by academics and road safety professionals - were primarily intended for road safety and active travel professionals, and elected members with an interest in road safety issues.
