The latest publication in the Good Egg Safety series is the Good Egg Guide to Cycling for Families which launched during Bike Week 2013 (15 June).

The Guide says that cycling is the ultimate family activity which is healthy, fun, encourages children to be more independent and helps to teach good road sense. The Guide also says that cycling 20 miles a week reduces the risk of heart disease by more than 50% but that some parents and carers may be deterred from cycling for reasons of safety.
