20mph education package to support implementation of schemes / signed limits etc.

Hello, I'm looking to develop a 'package' to support the implementation of 20mph limits /schemes / zones etc.

Realistically I don't have available staff to go in and do delivery in schools so I'd like a package of lesson plans, resources, assembly & project ideas that schools could use themselves. In addition to this I'd like to look at better community engagement in areas where the 20s will be introduced. So any leaflets, comms strategies, social media plans, resources and other ideas about what will and won't work and how best we can get communities to embrace 20s and also drivers in general to adhere to the limits and bring about a cultural shift whereby drivers expect residential streets to be 20mph.

It is foolish to implement 20 miles/h schemes without a reliable means of enforcement. The cultural shift required is one in which all road users demand Intelligent Speed Assistance of the mandatory type in 20 miles/h areas.
It should be noted that the speed limit was 20 miles/h from 1903 to 1931, and that it was abandoned because it simply was not respected.
Unfortunately, government has been even slower to provide the framework required for ISA, than it has to start considering GDL.
ISA is a mature technology and TfL's buses are now speed limited by it. Government should have set an example by fitting it to all its vehicles, but I'm afraid road safety isn't really the high priority it is often claimed to be.
It needs your encouragement:

Hi Rebecca

City of Westminster have 20mph limits on roads near education establishments.
More information can be found via this link https://www.westminster.gov.uk/20mph-trials

I designed the education programme and communications plan for businesses, residents and schools.
More than happy to provide you with further information over the phone or via an email.
