Risks associated with roadside marketing/vending
I am trying to gather information on the risk posed by engaging in marketing, vending or charitable collections while on the road or at the roadside. In Ireland throughout our towns and cities you will frequently see such activities, particularly at busy junctions, including the selling of newspapers, handing out flyers to promote a business or collecting for a charity. It has raised significant concern among many interested groups because of the safety risk that it poses and I am trying to gather relevant literature about how the issue has been dealt with in other jurisdictions. To date a search of both the academic and grey literatures has come up with nothing of note. Any relevant information that you could provide me with would be much appreciated.
