Safety camera vehicle event attendance

We are looking to attend more summer events this year with the safety camera vehicle and equipment. We usually set up so the public can come inside the van and see the camera working. Firstly I was wondering if anyone used any gazebos or awnings which can attach to the vehicle and secondly I was wondering what promotional items people felt where most well received at their events? Thanks

Hi Julie, it would be helpful if you indicated what part of the country you are in and also what the vehicle is and the type of doors it has as all of those questions may help to get (meaningful) answers.

Safety camera vehicle event attendance

Hi Julie,

This is an activity which Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership has undertaken many times over a number of years and which is generally very well received by the public.

We have used the vans in conjunction with out LGV Exhibition Vehicle, Crash Car Simulator, gazebo type stands and even indoor exhibitions.

If you would like to give me a call on the number shown, I would be happy to discuss and share images / materials with you.

Thanks for the responses so far.

I'm an Area Comms Officer in Scotland and although we have attending lots of events in previous years I am thinking more this year about how we can get the best from them.

We have Ford Transit vans and do use a gazebo but I'm curious to know if there's something like an awning that would make our display look more professional.

Our promotional materials have varied greatly over the years, initially we probably had too many and in recent years they have been few and far between, and our most popular trolley coins aren't so well received since few supermarkets still require them.

Thanks again.
