Bikeability L1

Do any of you have schemes (either in house or an external provider) who deliver Bikeability Level 1 as the separate course (ie not as part of the L1/2 combined course).
If so do you use any local funding to support delivery or do you just claim the £5 per head rate supplied by DfT grant? My understanding is that some years ago the rate available from the DfT was £15 per head, but that this then got changed to £5 per head.

Bikeability L1

We do deliver seperate level 1 courses. DfT pay for some of the courses and my revenue budget pay for the remaining. At present the courses are free although we are looking at charging for them.
Happy to discuss if you need further information.

We do deliver this to year 3 students. I use the DfT funding to cover the cost of the instructors, but will use my "council" time (I'm employed part time by the local authority to coordinate training) to make up the numbers if demand exceeds the grant!
